How do I know if this is right for me?
At the beginning of each semester, we offer a “trial period” where you can swim with the team free of charge.
Can anyone join?
Gamecock Club Swim is open to everyone, regardless of experience or skill level. The only requirement is that you know how to swim.
How do I sign up?
Check out GarnetGate or follow us on Instagram for the latest updates.
Is there a fee to join?
New members have a fee of $175 for their first semester. Returning members only have to pay $100 per semester.
Practices
How easy/hard are the practices?
Our practice chair write multiple sets so you can swim at the difficulty you feel comfortable with.
When are practices?
We offer 4 practices a week (Mon-Thurs) from 7:30-8:30 pm. Check the calendar (featured on the home page), or follow us on Instagram for updates.
Do I need to go to every practice?
Nope! You can go to as many or as few practices as you'd like.
Meets and Competitions
Do you have meets?
Yes! We aim to have 4 meets per semester, with a national qualifying championship in the spring.
Where are the meets located?
Competions are usually at universtities along the east coast.
How do I sign up for meets?
Roughly two weeks before the competition, an email will be sent out with an interest form.
Does everyone get to travel?
Everyone is eligible to fill out the meet interest form. However, due to limited available space at competitions, people are chosen on a first come first serve basis. Everyone can swim at home meets though.
